education and our distinctive community outreach platform.
TSF strives to bring unity and instill democratic values anchored in the
principles of Zan.Zendegi.Azadi (Woman.Life.Freedom) for a lasting
impact.

Toomaj Salehi Foundation's goal is to empower, unite, energize, give hope, and engage Iranian communities by:
Educating our communities about diverse forms of democracy grounded in
the principles of Woman.Life.Freedom (Zan.Zendegi.Azadi ) (Jin.Jiyan.Azadî).
Strengthening our civil societies through grassroots initiatives, impacting
individuals, communities, cities, and ultimately, the entirety of Iran through
our outreach programs.
Collaborating with community enablers to coordinate on targeted initiatives,
mobilizing against oppression imposed by the Islamic Republic.
Promoting unity by emphasizing our shared beliefs and values.
Why naming ourselves the Toomaj Salehi Foundation
Toomaj Salehi was born on December 3, 1990, to a Bakhtiari family. He is mostly known for his protest songs concerning Iran's societal issues and the destruction the Islamic Republic has imposed on Iranians.
Toomaj is the voice of voiceless, an unyielding thorn in the eyes of Islamic Republic, a symbol of
courage with blistering conviction who does not bend to pressure and torture. He is the change agent who highlighted the critical issues facing Iranians through his songs and the corruption that has spread so widely by the Islamic Republic.
To honor him, all political prisoners, the victims of IR, and to continue to carry Toomaj's message of unity and resistance, we started the Toomaj Salehi Foundation. We believe through the work of this foundation, we can bring diverse spectrum of Iranians together, to mobilize against one common enemy, IR.
His most important message is that, through unity, we can face and eradicate this regime and start re-building our Iran that has been decimated over the last 44 years.
